What is a Psychotherapist?
A mental health practitioner trained to use various cognitive, emotional, and somatic therapeutic approaches to create an effective and safe journey to wellness.
What is the fee for a session?
The standard fee is $140.00 per 50 minute session.
Are your services covered by OHIP?
Psychotherapy services provided by private practitioners are not covered by OHIP.
Are your services covered by my private insurance?
Psychotherapy is covered by most private insurance plans. Please check with your provider.
How long are your sessions?
Sessions are generally 50 minutes long unless otherwise determined.
How does payment work?
Sessions are provided as pay-by-service charged at the end of each session. Payment can be made by e-transfer.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations can be made by email, phone, or text. A cancellation is considered late when it is made less than 24 hours before the session start time. In this case, there will be a missed appointment fee. A no-show is subject to the same guidelines.
What can I expect in session?
The initial phase of Psychotherapy is about meeting in the present and setting expectations to co-create a safe space for exploration. Sequential work moves into depth modalities, utilizing a combination of approaches that compliment individual processes.
